The Sir Taylor
Joshua Taylor is a visual storyteller whose work is centered around personal and community storytelling. Using his experiences as a tool to create inspiring narratives in the everyday lives of minorities, Taylor employs photography as a medium to contrast current viewpoints while simultaneously creating opportunities to provide new ones. Born and raised in Chicago, IL, where Taylor resides, he believes it that environment which shaped the lens for his creativity and imagination.

Taylor currently holds an BA in Integrated Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University.
Impact:
Understanding the importance of self discovery, Taylor uses art as a teaching tool to empower Chicago's youth to express themselves and create their own narratives.
